- Environmental Training
FÁS provides a range of Environmental
Training Programmes.
The aims of the programmes are -
- To ensure the provision of Environmental Training in line
with legislative requirements.
- To provide the expertise required for managing the Environment.
- To improve Environmental quality standards.
- To raise standards of Health, Safety and Welfare.
- To maintain a register of qualified persons.
FÁS may grant aid attendance on these training programmes by
qualified applicants. Applications for grant aid must be made to
FÁS before attendance on the course. Grants are paid only after
course completion and are subject to availability of funds.

Each module will be confined to approximately 20 participants.
Senior executives, engineers, administrators and environmental personnel
who do not require the complete programme may undertake individual
module(s) subject to the availability of places on the particular
module(s).
Programme Venue
Tullamore Court Hotel, Tullamore, Co. Offaly.
Programme Fee
The fee for the total 8 Modules (12 days) is €3900 per
participant - including manuals, course and Legislation, C.D’s and
modular certification. For individual modules, the fee is €325
per training day. A separate fee will be charged for the "site specific"assessment.
50% Grant Aid available for current programmes for most organisations
and will be netted directly on invoice. Please check eligibility.
Payment of Fee
A cheque for the payment of the Programme Fee must be enclosed with
the candidate Registration form/Pro Forma Invoice. All local authorities/
Government Agencies must have a purchase order number.
