Energy Services
for Business
All businesses
are concerned about the costs of energy and are constantly seeking
ways to enhance competitiveness and improve their environmental
performance.
Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI) is Ireland's national
energy agency and its mission is to support and assist the development
of sustainable energy in Ireland.
SEI supports businesses through advice and training
programmes that boost the competitive edge of Irish companies and
help increase profits. Tackling energy usage is a valuable way to
reduce costs and enhance competitiveness and has proven itself in
many Irish companies who have seen significant gains.
Energy Assessments
SEI offers firms free assessments to analyse current energy use
and identify immediate opportunities for savings. Advice on appropriate
monitoring and management is also provided.
How this works -
|
Firms register with SEI and are matched with an
energy expert. |
|
The expert will contact them and talk through
their issues - first, by phone and then, if appropriate, on-site
- conducting an assessment of opportunities for savings. |
|
The expert will recommend the best actions for
the firm and maintain contact over time to provide ongoing support. |

Energy Management Training
SEI runs group and sector specific tailored training
courses (half-day, one-day or three-day), that offer introductions
to energy management with associated advice and support for
participants. Many courses include on-site assessments for participating
firms.
Advice on good energy management for all types of business is
available on SEI's dedicated website (www.sei.ie/energymap),
which offers a step-by-step structure that is easy to follow
and implement, in addition to specific tips on a range of energy
technologies and ideas. |
|
Guidance and tips are available for all business, regardless of
size or energy management experience.
