The 2nd National
Smart Cities Summit
The Next Step – Moving from
Vision to Reality
September 25th 2012, Croke
Park Convention Centre, Dublin
www.smartcities.ie
As our planet gets
more urban, our cities need to get smarter!
The majority of the world’s population now lives in
cities and this number is growing fast. In fact, it is estimated
that one million people move into the world’s cities each week.
With this enormous influx of population, new ideas are needed to
manage complexity, increase efficiency, reduce expense and improve
quality of life.
It is against this backdrop that iQuest
is delighted to present The
2nd National Smart Cities Summit.
Following on from the success of last year’s inaugural event, this
summit will examine the keys to success of our smart cities.
With an impressive gathering of leading national and
international experts - and an array of modern and relevant topics
- there is no doubt that this event is a ‘must attend’ for
everyone with an interest in and responsibility for planning, urban
development, infrastructure, transport and sustainability. Together,
we will attempt to take the next step and move the concept of smart
cities from vision to reality.
