Internal Auditor
BACKGROUND
Internal audits play a vital role in maintaining an effective documented
management system suitable to the needs of an organisation. To be
successful in achieving this objective, the internal auditor must
be trained to collect, evaluate and report on audit findings in
an efficient and concise manner. This course will present the skills
necessary to conduct Internal Audits against ISO 14001.
OBJECTIVES
On completing this course the participant will -
- Understand the structure and requirements of ISO 14001
- Understand the importance of internal auditing within an environmental
management system
- Be able to plan, organise and carry out internal audits of an
ISO 14001 Management System.
